Day 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro & Transfer to Hotel
* Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
Meet your transfer and transfer to your pre-booked hotel in Moshi.
Enjoy a welcome briefing with your mountain guide, who will review the climb details, equipment check, and answer any questions.
Overnight at the hotel. (Meal plan: Bed & Breakfast)
Day 2: Lemosho Gate (2,385m) to Big Tree Camp (2,780m)
After breakfast, transfer to the Lemosho Gate (approximately 3-4 hours drive).
Complete park registration formalities.
Begin your trek through lush rainforest, gradually ascending to Big Tree Camp.
Enjoy lunch on the trail.
Big Tree Camp offers stunning views and a chance to acclimatize.
Dinner and overnight at Big Tree Camp. (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 3: Big Tree Camp (2,780m) to Shira Camp 1 (3,505m)
* After breakfast, continue trekking through the changing landscape, transitioning from rainforest to heather and moorland.
The trail offers beautiful views of the Shira Plateau.

Arrive at Shira Camp 1, a more exposed and cooler campsite.
Dinner and overnight at Shira Camp 1. (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 4: Shira Camp 1 (3,505m) to Shira Camp 2 (3,962m)
A shorter day of trekking across the Shira Plateau, allowing for better acclimatization.
Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.

Arrive at Shira Camp 2, located on the western side of the mountain.
Optional acclimatization hike in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at Shira Camp 2. (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 5: Shira Camp 2 (3,962m) to Barranco Camp (3,976m) via Lava Tower (4,600m)
Trek towards the Lava Tower, reaching an altitude of approximately 4,600m. This is a crucial acclimatization day.
Descend from Lava Tower to Barranco Camp, a scenic campsite nestled beneath the Barranco Wall.

Dinner and overnight at Barranco Camp. (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 6: Barranco Camp (3,976m) to Karanga Camp (4,035m)
After breakfast, tackle the challenging Barranco Wall (don't worry, it's not as scary as it sounds!). Your guides will assist you.
The trail continues with ups and downs, offering stunning views of the southern ice fields.

Arrive at Karanga Camp, a relatively short day to conserve energy for the summit push.
Dinner and overnight at Karanga Camp. (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 7: Karanga Camp (4,035m) to Barafu Camp (4,600m) and Summit Attempt
An early start with breakfast, followed by a trek to Barafu Camp.
Barafu Camp is the final camp before the summit attempt.
Rest and prepare for the summit climb.
Around midnight, begin your ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa.
The climb is challenging, but the reward is incredible.
Witness a breathtaking sunrise from the summit (weather permitting).
Descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest and then continue down to Millennium Camp (3,800m) for overnight.

Day 8: Millennium Camp (3,800m) to Mweka Gate (1,640m) and Transfer to Hotel
After breakfast, descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate.
Receive your summit certificates.
Meet your transfer and return to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi.
Celebrate your achievement!
