This is the only forest in Tanzania which is located in Town. The forest has vast of attractions including many bird species, Black and white colobus monkeys, milk spring, Biggest tree (Milicia excelsa) and many other attractions. Rau Forest provides you with enough space for meditation. The forest is also surrounded by the rice fields where you can meet the local farmers and learn about their culture. After 2-3 hours of exploring, you will be taken back to your hotel where you can enjoy a well-prepared lunch, swimming and some downtime.
